Deep in the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge, settled on a small island in Nuyakuk Lake, is Alaska’s most remote fishing lodge.
It’s a world-renowned location for sport fishing and a beautiful retreat where anyone can commune with the natural wonder of the Alaskan frontier. Char, Trout, and Salmon are plentiful, and the lodge staff are well equipped to take you out on the water and find the best fishing spots. They’ve been operating since 1969 and have 5 float planes, over 40 boats, and premium access to all the Alaskan frontier has to offer.

The lodge staff created these Tikchik trophy pins to award guests who manage to catch rainbow trout while out casting lines for hum salmon, dollys, char, lake trout, and grayling. Our design team worked with the expert fishermen and the lodge to make sure the rainbow trout details on the pins were as true to life as possible. We also made sure to suggest hard enamel instead of soft enamel for these pins, because the smooth, glossy surface of hard enamel lends a sense of prestige and realism to the artwork. The glossy surface almost shimmers like the real-life scales of a rainbow trout!
