Corpus Christi’s Destination ImagiNation Team Get Custom Lapel Pins for the Journey

Destination ImagiNation (DI) provides creative, team building and problem solving educational programs to 100,000 students each year across the U.S. and in more than 30 countries.  The extraordinary 501(c) 3 non-profit consists of 1.3 million alumni and 35,000 volunteers.  With its mission being to enrich the global community by providing learners of all ages with opportunities to discover their creative potential, it is only natural that a team would request a custom lapel pin as creative and unique as its students.
A Team Pin Made to Compete The series of team lapel pins we created for one of the DI teams, The 7, located in Corpus Christi, Texas is rich in color and design details. The lapel pin design truly works to display the team’s own imagination and original ideas to fellow competitors. This four pin collection is of the cloisonné lapel pin style which gives the pins a jewel-like quality that is smooth to the touch. The ornate blue, green, yellow and red background colors with all of their sparkle and shine was achieved using glitter enamel as the color fills.  The remainder of the design, with its handheld game details, puzzles pieces and custom text, not only make the lapel pins pleasing to the eye, but also inspire a sense of excitement and fun.
Tradability is Always a Factor The customized pins can also be used to show and trade at the teams’ regional, national and global tournaments. Aside from DI participants working within their teams to arrive at the most creative solutions to problems presented in challenge exercises, team pins offer an additional activity and means of boosting morale.
