The organization is dedicated to ending hunger by providing healthy food to all those in need through the No Empty Plates initiative which incorporates several programs throughout the year. For example, the Summer Food, Fun, and Friends program is a 10-week child nutrition and education program that provides daily meals, snacks, and enrichment activities to at-risk youth.
They also have a Mobile School Pantry program that provides “pop-up” pantries for students and their families who need access to nutritious foods and non-perishable items throughout the school year. It’s all presented in a farmers market style setting that helps build connections between families in need with additional service providers that can help!

Their idea for a design featured a cornucopia-style collage of healthy fruits and foods, as well as a ribbon painting to their website. What they wanted was something that people could wear as a symbol of solidarity with their mission and a way of sharing their message with others.

The act of giving comes in many forms. While the Hunger Coalition is focused on providing food to those in need, the Gift of Life is on a mission to cure blood cancer through cellular therapy. These custom logo pins were created as a gift for donors who, by giving, are saving a life!
To provide the care needed for patients with blood cancer, Gift of Life is raising awareness and taking blood stem cell donations and bone marrow donations from any willing donors. A patient is diagnosed with blood cancer every three minutes, and the lifetime probability of getting a stem cell transplant is only 1 in 200.
To help all those in need, it’s going to be an uphill battle, but the team at Gift of Life is up to the challenge. These pins are a symbol of appreciation for donor support, but also a tool for raising awareness and helping put an end to blood cancer!
