Looking at this year’s AMC coin, we see several design features that make the coin truly stand out. First, it is important to mention that the coin is double sided. AMC, like many other organizations, took advantage of this option because it allows more room for intricate designs and adds to the coins overall value. One side of the military coin clearly states the issuing agency’s name and reason for the award along the outer edge. The current motto, with related emblems, appears in the center of the coin.
