Custom Challenge Coins
There are a number of reasons why our customers like ordering numbered challenge coins.  Here are a few for you to think about:
  • Numbered challenge coins give the impression that they are limited and therefore more valuable. These items are great for reward and fundraising purposes because they make the recipients feel very special.
  • Numbered challenge coins appear to be different than other challenge coins. Donors or VIP guests are awarded sequentially numbered coins as a way to differentiate them from other people attending a party or other type of social event.
  • Numbered challenge coins take the place of tickets. Rather than hand out paper tickets to a banquet or military ball, numbered challenge coins are issued.  Not only does this cut down on waste, it also gives recipients a unique souvenir to take home with them.
All About Coins can number the edges of your challenge coins or on the raised metal portion on the coin which typically consists of a raised rectangular bar placed on the face of these items.  It is popular to number the edges in case future coins do not have numbering. On coins that do have numbering on the raised rectangular bar, future orders without numbers can look out of place.  That is because the raised bar remains on the coin either way.  If you plan to reorder challenge coins and know that you do not want them to be numbered, it may be best to have your original order numbered on the edges of the coins. Our most common numbering system is 001 to xxx or 1 to xxx (xxx being the ending number).  Some of our more popular numbering options include:
  • 1 of xxx, for example, 1 of 100 to 100 of 100
  • 1/xxx, for example, 1/100 to 100/100
We can also incorporate a custom numbering sequence upon request which also can include letters.  For more information about this special request or to ask a question, please contact a sales representative right away. For more information on how to add numbers to your custom challenge coins, call All About Coins at 1-800-667-5931 or email info@allaboutchallengecoins.com.  We will be more than happy to discuss your options with you today.
